Vic Cowley

Mr. Cowley began his association with computer training in the 1960s as a programming instructor. With a career that has involved managing international sales forces, distributor networks, telemarketing teams, finance departments, manufacturing facilities and service organizations, he has first-hand experience that allows him to relate to most business processes. For the last ten years he has been a training manager, instructor and courseware designer for computer applications. He has managed several teams of designers and trainers, taking total responsibility for the customized training of many hundreds of end users in Oracle Applications. Mr. Cowley built lasting strategic partnerships with computer training centers and Oracle consulting companies and has formed OA Train as a vehicle to bring together the best courseware developers and instructors, and make them available to Oracle users and consulting organizations as complementary teams.

Mr. Cowley graduated from Cambridge University, England with an MA in mathematics. He holds certification in Oracle Financial Management and Database Administration (DBA) and is a Microsoft-Certified Trainer. His technical and functional understanding of Oracle database engines and Oracle Applications gives him an advantage in translating technical detail into courseware materials that are designed for the end-user. He delivers training in English, French and Spanish.
