Cherie Travis

Ms. Travis has over twenty years of progressive experience in customized training design, development, management and delivery in a wide variety of industries. Currently a Senior Technical Instructor, Ms. Travis has extensive experience in writing and teaching the Oracle 8 and 8i engine. (All courses for DBA certification). Also, Ms. Travis has taught Oracle Tutor, Purchasing, G/L, AP, A/R, Manufacturing/Engineering, Inventory as well as other curriculum development software to create highly-focused, customized end-user training.

Specialities include Java, C, C++ UNIX shells, PL/SQL XML, C#, Oracle engine plus ERP. Ms. Travis is a guest speaker for various Oracle Users Group throughout the country. She lectures on the most current technology in Oracle. Her last lecture in Minnesota was picked up by Media One and highly broadcast thorughout the state, as one of the leading professionals in Oracle development. Ms. Travis also performs consulting in PL/SQL programming.

Responsibilities included teaching various modules as part of the project team on Oracle's Applications 11i end user training.

Keyspan Energy:

Responsibilities included courseware development and customized training solutions for Oracle Applications 11 end user training.

Vice President of CTI

Wrote and taught all certification courses in Oracle 8i. Taught all classes throughout the country for various training organizations. Her responsibilities included the delivery of training in Oracle in addition to on-site customized classes at client locations.

Reynolds Metals Corporation

Worked with Expert Advisor and KML language (aritifical intelligence) to be the first in the state of setting up a three tier environment in private industry for a highly complex expert system.

Ameteva Technologies:

Network Engineer (Formerly AT&T R&D) Bleeding edge technology on LDAP and IMAP technology. Integration of voice and e-mail, telephony research utilizing phone hardware and software of phone companies.

Oracle DBA and UNIX SA Computer Science Corporation

Developed backup and recovery systems for Oracle to be utilized throughout the United States for Army deployment for State of Readiness. Was lead DBA and lead Unix SA systems for the SAMS-ITDA readiness units.
